We will have differing rewards in heaven (1 Corinthians 3:12-15), depending on our actions and choices here on earth. There is no hint that, once given or withheld, rewards are anything other than eternal and irrevocable. Reward Principle #6: We will have differing levels of reward in heaven, depending on our actions and choices on earth. When Zaccheus the tax collector converted, he wanted to right his wrongs. He declared Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore If I had a dollar for every time I heard a preacher or someone say, There are no tears in heaven I would be a very rich man. Unfortunately, that statement is incorrect; at least, in part. There are three places in the Bible where we are told that God will wipe away all our tears. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Try to remain anonymous as much as you can when you do good deeds. So that others do not see If you were not motivated godly love in all this, even though you thought you were doing great things in My eyes, you would have no reward in heaven because godly love is My greatest commandment to you. You only see appearances, but I see the heart at all times. I know every misguided motivation and every deception. I know your heart, better They think, Well if I saw somebody who had more rewards than me, I d be jealous. Now, that s flawed human logic, because it s not what the Bible teaches. It is certainly correct that there will be no jealousy in Heaven. But it s not because there will be no distinctions between rewards. It s because we will all be motivated Once, when I was thinking of those who have happy marriages, out of thin air came the words, 'They have received their reward in full.' These are the words of Moses had an eye at the recompense of reward' (Hebrews 11:26), yea, Christ himself but think of the rich reward when he shall arrive at the heavenly port. If he that gives a cup of cold water, shall not lose his reward, then much less he What are these rewards in heaven which Jesus talks about? Every believer longs for the day when we shall be like him, because we shall this idea, it is not inconceivable, not is it incompatible with any teaching in the NT. Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his No secret, quiet "rapture," whisking Christians off to heaven, but the most terrible battle in man's history. Kingdom of Heaven? Some scriptures speak of the Kingdom of Heaven. However, they mean just what they say: the Kingdom of heaven, not the Kingdom in heaven. The word "of" denotes possession, not location: It is Heaven's Kingdom. The essential issue is: Where will the righteous be rewarded? And, to a lesser extent: If people who have died are not in heaven, where are they? A clear Bible at them; otherwise, you have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. 6:5 And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, because they Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. The Gospel of The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them, but the wise If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. I had no real reason to long for heaven when earth felt like my home. While heaven is a glorious reward for those who ran hard and fought the good fight, there is 5:10] I've had so many people tell me, Well, there's no way that Jesus Christ this will take place after the Rapture when we're in Heaven with Jesus Christ and Third, Lot has no reward in Heaven. For the sake of a few fleeting years of fleshly pleasures he is spending eternity saved but with no crowns, and no rewards that those around him are enjoying. He is absent from the "Faith Hall of Fame" in Hebrews 11; and he is present only on the very lowest rung of that glorious city, the Heavenly Jerusalem If you do that, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. Before men, to be seen of them: else ye have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. He s in Heaven. So what s the problem? Well, there are three. First Lot did NOT do okay. He did for a while, but he lived with seeing it all taken from him. Everything he had, he lost. Everything. God was not going to allow one of His people reap a reward from sin; rather, He ensured he would receive only its wages. Lot had NO reward Truly, I say to you, they havereceived their reward. Your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will Rewards are simply God's way of showing that He is pleased with our Jesus would not have informed us about heavenly rewards if He didn't want us to know
